T3 in Greece

Hi if anyone has bought T3 in Greece can you advise what the brand name is and how many packs you are allowed to buy and the cost please. Are there any ever issues in bringing back to the U.K.? My son is travelling so want to know he is ok to buy on my behalf. Thank you

International T3 makes are in my medicines document. However, I think there is at least one Greek one I have not yet added - Greece is due a revision!

The main make discussed is Uni-Pharma.

The number of packs is much discussed. My view is that there is no limit. But if customs ask, you need a valid and sensible answer. They cannot possibly know how much you are taking! With some embers having been up to 150 micrograms a day, and others 5 a day, they cannot readily make a valid decision. But the larger the amount, the more likely they are to allege it is being brought in to sell.

Some suggest three months supply but that seems to have been invented out of the air, quite possibly by the MHRA and/or customs with no legal basis.

The legal bit says that you can bring in prescription medicines (other than controlled drugs) for your own use, and that of your household.

If your son does not live with you, it could be seen as illegal but there is no legal defintion of "household" in this context that I know of.

Do NOT lie to customs. The consequences could be serious.
