Good Afternoon everyone, wonder if you can help. I am wondering if you can buy both 5mg and 10mg T3 in Greece? I have bought 25mg in the past but would rather buy it in 5 or 10mg. Thanks very much x

Don’t think so

Uni Pharma 25mcg only

Cuts into 1/4’s very easily using sharp craft scalpel

1/4 = 6.25mcg

STAY WELL AWAY from the Greece Supplier … Not sure when the last time you bought some but they have ripped of many of us a while back, as well as very recently too.

I do know of a100% reliable source of T3 but the pills only come in 25mg’s, let me know if you want a link 👊🏻👊🏻

I’ve bought in a pharmacy in Greece but wasn’t sure if they only stock 25mg. I’m not brave enough to buy online anyway.

Other than the UK and the USA (and others who get USA medicines or base theirs on USA products), there are few liothyronine products in 5 or 10 microgram dosages.

helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:

helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines

helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world.

This link takes you to a page which has direct links to the documents from Dropbox and Google Drive, and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones.

The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrix for tablets, oral solutions and liothyronine available in the UK.

A penny drops

As it's mostly misogynist somatoform-diagnosing miscreant jerks in the UK/US driving pharmas to produce this vital hormone in such tiny doses, it does beg the question, why?

Is there a single thyroidy who's regained their health on such insignificant doses?

At the top of this debacle, I imagine a (pharmaceutical) idiot savant incel, spluttering and muttering about scything women's good health away...Do one, tool ✊

I think so. Especially useful for split dosing and initial introduction.

Twenty (or twenty-five) micrograms is a substantial increment and I think a lot of people might find it difficult to adjust by that much.

(I am accepting, for now, that tablet splitting is deprecated - whatever the validity or justification.)

Rapunzel 'vital hormone in such tiny doses, it does beg the question, why?'

To make it easy to split dose across the day, instead of having to innacurately cut up tiny tablets with scalpels!

Perhaps not fully regaining health but a good starting point for titrating up. I would like a small dose for that. Cutting up a twenty or twenty five only takes you to 2.5 and no lower, otherwise it’s crumbs.

can you still buy over the counter anywhere in Greece? I’ve just had someone try for me and they’ve been refused saying they don’t do it without prescription anymore…
