Your opinion on some test results

I’d be very grateful for your opinion on where I’m at after an increase in Levothyroxine and some recent test results. I’ve included some past results to show a comparison. I feel an improvement in some ways, especially sleep, memory, brain fog, sweating and constipation, and I’ve been able to introduce a few more foods, but fatigue and gut and heart thumping are still issues. I’m on a steroid, Fludrocortisone, for low blood pressure, and have found I’ve had to reduce that as I’ve increased the Levo. Since April, I have also been trialling splitting my Levo dose, taking it three times a day (away from food), to see if it increases my FT3 conversion.

THYROID

FT4 16.9 ( 12.0-22.0pmol/L) ( 49% through range)

FT3 4.73 (3.1-6.8 pmol/L) 44.05% through range

Was last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

Assuming last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test, suggest trying to increase levothyroxine to 100mcg daily

Conversion does seem to be improving

what vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Vitamin D could be a bit higher at least over 80nmol and around 100nmol maybe better

Slow Dragon, thank you for your reply. Yes, I feel I’m converting better, but as I am splitting the dose into 3, I do notice I’m running out of medication when it’s near time to take another tablet, eg flaking out, sweating, which I guess indicates I need a higher dose, but as my TSH is already low I am worried I would suppress it if I go any higher with the Levothyroxine.

Yes, last dose was 24 hours before testing, and supplements I take are:

Vitamin D3 (Higher Nature): I was taking 1000 IU up to the last test, but have now upped it to 1500 IU. (High doses give me tinnitus).

Vitamin K2 100 mcg per day.

Vitamin B12 (Healthspan) 5000 IU per day

Vitamin A 5000 IU every other day (was a bit low 18.10.21 @ 1.04 (1.05-3.84 umol/L).

I have just re-tested vitamin A and other B vitamins but not got the results back yet.
