How much D3/K2 are you taking? Your level isn't too bad at all although the Vit D Society and Grassroots Health both recommend a level of 100-150nmol/L with a recent blog post on Grassroots Health recommending at least 125nmol/L. So you could aim for that if you wish.

Do you also take magnesium as an important cofactor of D3? Magnesium helps the body convert D3 into it's usable form.

B12 is fine.

Folate shows deficiency which is why your GP has prescribed folic acid. He should retest in about 3 months to check your level. Prescribed folic acid for deficiency is usually a short term thing.

Your iron panel shows a top of range iron level and quite high saturation level. This suggests that you don't need iron tablets. If you take iron tablets you will take your serum iron and saturation over range and too much iron is as bad as too little. You should try and raise your ferritin level through diet. You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, also liver pate, black pudding, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet

Your other results are nicely in range and don't suggest any problems.

Hi thanks for your reply shall I take the folic acid which GP has prescribed or is there anyty better one available over the counter my ferritin goes down gradually I have fibroid and get clots during my periods do you think that's contributing my ferritin levels to go down plus folate BCS once it goes low I get bad symptoms breathless..dizziness disturbed sleep ,pain and pins and needles at night in my hands and arms bad achey legs and lethargy...I have recently been diagnosed with a stomach polyp and I'm scared to take any iron pills vitamin d3 I take 2000 IU daily with k2 added and it has magnesium added too what you think if I take liquid iron like spatone orferroglubin the liquid form will they be ok for my stomach?

I would start by taking the prescribed folic acid. Your body should convert it to folate. Some people find they don't convert and need to take methylfolate instead, but don't anticipate that, go with what the GP has prescribed, make sure that your level is checked at the appropriate time.

.I have recently been diagnosed with a stomach polyp and I'm scared to take any iron pills

You don't need any iron tablets, or liquid iron. As already explained you have high levels of serum iron and saturation and taking iron tablets will take these too high. You need to try to raise ferritin through diet.

Symptoms of low ferritin include:

◾Weakness

◾Fatigue

◾Difficulty concentrating

◾Poor work productivity

◾Cold hands and feet

◾Poor short-term memory

◾Difficulty remembering names

◾Dizziness

◾Pounding in the ears

◾Shortness of breath

◾Brittle nails

◾Headaches

◾Restless legs

my ferritin goes down gradually I have fibroid and get clots during my periods do you think that's contributing my ferritin levels to go down

I'm afraid I can't say.
