Why would an Endo be able to prescribe NDT privately but not on the NHS?

This has all the info you need ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... although it's an American site it details the Brits who first came up with the l-thyroxine monotherapy which suits around 75-80% of hypo sufferers... alledgedly. The rest of us can jog on and shut up. Plus ca change. 🙄
