I have a friend from Greece who is willing to send a few packages to me via DHL. Is it OK to do send/receive medication via DHL? Will they inspect it? Is there a limit how much can be sent?
He is sending from Greece, Crete, Heraklion to Budapest, Hungary

Have you checked the regulations for importation of medication into your country?
As this is a UK based forum, even though we have members from around the world I don't know if any member is based in Hungary, if anyone is maybe they will be answer your question.
Quite often when T3 is sent to the UK, normal post is used rather than a courier.
Well T3 is prescribed by some GPs, but have to order it from an international pharmacy. Yes we will try to make it work with regular post. I am so stupid, I was in Greece this September and didn't think of it back then. Anyway thanks!
When I was stuck in Saudi Arabia last year due to Covid and no flights allowed out, I arranged for a supply of T 3 to be sent to me via DHL. It arrived within 4 days, excellent service. Of course, it wasn’t cheap but worth every penny!
Why does your friend have to use DHL? Why not just put the pills in an ordinary envelope/box and use regular mail? Letters/packages sent from one EU country to another are not opened by customs for inspection thanks to free movement of goods. The same should apply to couriers such as DHL, but in that case your friend had better not put T3, liothyronine or something like that on the label. It´s better to say "supplements", "personal health care products" or something to that effect if you are required to specify the content.
I have a friend in Turkey, she easily buys me lots of T3 (tiromel) over the counter for £2 for 28 tablets.I am telling people as she says a city break to Ismir ie Bodrum would be very reasonable and accessible from the UK if people are struggling to source their T3.
