I've been researching magnesium supplements as I'd like to try one to help my sleep, muscle and general aches etc., but following Wentz advice and what I've read online, thinking a combined /complex would be the best way to go above an oxide. I don't want a high citrate tab considering my 'toilet activity' is good and don't want to upset that! Oh, and something GF too.... But there are soooo many out there and I have little trust in amazon.... Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks, Ebony

I’ve tried a few magnesium supplements & have settled on magnesium glycinate, as this is easy on the stomach. I take it early evening as it helps me unwind. I think it’s trial & error, as other members use different types of magnesium.
This is one I’m currently taking
Epsilon Magnesium Glycinate - Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate Supplement - 120 Easy to Take Vegan Capsules amazon.co.uk/dp/B082HXHP83/...
I have been taking that one for some time but then I found it has 15% mag oxide in it which isn't great. After a lot of searching I found this one magnesium L-threonate which has absolutely no fillers or binders british-supplements.net/pro...
Jigsaw health has different kinds on their website, pure glycinate, pure malate, combination w slow release, powder, lotion, I havee taken “magsoothe”ocasional for migraines, but made me very sleepy
Thanks for your responses. It seems it is a bit of trail and error, but I think I'm going to try a few... Then Myne aim for gold standard - unbuffered pure glycinate, indeed when you start looking at unbuffered you do see the price shift upwards.
Any more suggestions guys - or experiences on certain types, please keep em coming
Rather than trying a few, because Magnesium comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best (and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds if taking magnesium as tablets/capsules, no necessity if using topical forms of magnesium):
