Just getting my things together to drive to the hospital - and the endo rings. An hour early, wanting a phone appointment instead of face-to-face. I'd got his secretary to do all the right blood tests - and send me the results beforehand. Told him I was really happy on my level of meds. He said he was happy with a suppressed TSH as T3 and T4 well within range [not what he said last year, when he noted TSH was suppressed and increased lio in response from 10 mcg to 20 mcg and dropped levo from 75 mcg to 50 mcg]
I noted I was pleased with nutrients [folate a bit low at 5.3 [3 - 20]; ferritin 103 [12 - 200] B12 539 [160 - 640] vit D 107 [50 - 350] and he said I must be only one of a handful in the UK with vit D in 3 figures. I'll start supplementing vit D when the clocks change.
So he's keeping meds where they are SO relieved. Hubby says I've tamed him!

I'm glad you're relieved. It is always a worry when we're feeling our dose is good, to find that the GP or other medical professionals decide to reduce our dose.
I know, it's SO stressful, feeling really well and wondering if it will all be taken away from you! Interestingly, he was only really interested in "how" I got my lio - ie whether via the hospital or the GP. The whole phone call lasted 2 mins 39 seconds
Not an increase - after a silly starter dose of 50 mcg levo and 40 mcg of lio, I've been on 50 mcg levo/20 mcg lio pretty constantly; this changed just for a year, Oct 2019-20, to 75 levo/10 lio, then Oct 2020 went back to 50 levo 20 lio, which he's keeping for another year - but I'm equally happy on both doses. Take away the lio though and it's a whole different story! - that's why the annual appointment is so stressful, cos you just don't know if that's what they'll want to switch to, especially with a permanently suppressed TSH x
I feel blessed that my endo is ok with suppressed TSH as long as thyroid hormones not over range. It’s a postcode lottery though, as many members don’t have enlightened medics to turn to. Glad all ok with you! 😊
