Bloody discharge - is it copper coil?

Unusual bloody discharge/spotting

I have had bloody discharge for 4 days now. My period finished last week so its not that.

I can't see gp until Friday and I'm getting very worried.

I have a copper coil that was inserted over a year ago, could this be the problem? Most info says a few months after but not over a year ago.

If any one had been in this position please let me me know, Internet gives me horrible answers which scare me.

Do you have a thyroid disorder?

Sorry I don't know how I ended up on that. I've only just signed up.I wasn't asking for medical advice, just if someone has been in a similar situation.

I had breakthrough bleeding with the hormonal coil, but not with the copper coil, if its for more than a day or so or happens in more than one cycle, its worth speaking to your dr. If the strings are long it could be causing movement of your coil and irritating womb lining? Maybe get them to cut the wires, a bit shorter?
