I would say the biggest problem with the Healthleads B Complex is that it contains 40mg B6 and the safe daily amount for regular use is said to be 10mg. I personally wouldn't use that one, but that's my choice.

No. Iron must be kept at least 2 hours away from any other supplement or medication as it affects their absorption.

Yes I was thinking that but thought I would check with the b6 dose I already have numb tingling feet n lower legs not nice just thought a change of B complex I've been taking iron too close to my b complex Thank You!

Igennus 2 x tablets gives 20mg B6 so you'd be doubling the dose.

Have you looked at Thorne Basic B, it has, amongst other things, in the suggested dose of 1 capsule 10mg B6 and 400mcg each of methylfolate and methylcobalamin. It's my preferred brand.

I was looking at Thorne B complex this morning but it wasnt basic B so I'll go back and look again I dont want worse neuropathy than I have already I lay off the b complex sometimes but my diet has dwindled im working on it I need extra b vitimans I would have thought a super b complex meant only one tablet a day not 2 as for b12 I cant absorb it anyway

It's just branding and marketing and you don't have to take their suggested dose. Some say "high strength" and they're not, for instance Boots do a "High Strength Vit D" and it's 1000iu, yet Nutri Advanced "High Strength Vit D" is 5,000iu. Just ignore the marketing and read the label and decide what's right for you.

When I was taking 2 a day Ingennes then cut down to 1 then I was off for couple weeks or so I bought the Health Leads folate but bought the 1000ugs instead of 400ugs I think I should have bought and my folate shot right up

For regular daily use.

The effect of taking vitamin B6 at doses between 10 and 200 mg is unclear. So there's not enough evidence to say how long these doses could be taken for safely.

What does the Department of Health and Social Care advise?

You should be able to get the vitamin B6 you need by eating a varied and balanced diet.

If you take vitamin B6 supplements, do not take too much as this could be harmful.

Do not take more than 10mg of vitamin B6 a day in supplements unless advised to by a doctor.
