Hi I wondered if anyone can comment on my lates results from Medichecks.
TSH 0.02 ( 0.27-4.2)
FT3 4.5 ( 3.1-6.8)
F Thyroxine 11.9 ( 12-22)
I am still lacking in drive/ energy and have been suffering from anxiety and depression due to some family difficulties. The last time I increased my Thyroid S from 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half each day I went hyper. It was too much. Is it possible to take alternate days of the above amounts. I also note low F Thyroxine and lowish FT3. Any comments would be gratefully accepted. I’ve not found my sweet spot on this NDT yet.🤞🤞

No, you can't take different amounts on different days, because NDT contains T3 then we need the same amount of T3 every day due to it's short half life.
Your results suggest undermedication.
Looking at previous posts, you have been on NDT for a few years. Have your results always been like this?
Hi thanks for your reply. I was on Thiroyd and good on that. That became unavailable so I now take Thyroid S. It’s a bit different but ok I. Just not quite right.
As you are still experiencing symptoms, you do need an increase. Do you split your dose? Your FT3 result is around 37% through the range and most people would find this too low.
Hi thanks for your reply, I don’t have much energy but I am 68 so I’m never sure what is age related and what is thyroid. I have never split my dose. I feel I need a bit more but it’s tricky getting it just right.
I take Thyroid S and split my dose through out the day. By doing the split, you are able to increase your dose, because you are not adding all of the T3 at one time...and you are not using up all of your T3 at one time. Don't worry about lower T4 when on a NDT. It will always be lower, but you could stand higher dose to get your free T3 higher.
