I posted my latest test results last night and just wondered if anyone can advise if i'm on the right dose of levo? I'm pretty sure my gp is going to ring to discuss the results and i want to make sure i know what to say.
Should i start taking a B12?
Also should i stay on the iron patches? 🤔
I should say that i feel tired alot, i felt sure that the iron patches weren't doing anything and that was why i'm so tired but the numbers have gone up so now i don't know???

When did you last take levo before this test and what time of day was it?
Your FT4 is slightly above range but it depends when you last took Levo.
Your FT3 is at 70% which is pretty good.
B12 & folate - Your result is a little on the low side if you are already supplementing. Let us know if you are already taking anything but if not then a good methyl/active B complex would be recommended. This B complex has all the right vitamins at a not unreasonable cost for 90 days supply. amazon.co.uk/Liposomal-Soft...
Looking at your iron panel & ferritin, unless you are vegan or vegetarian I would stop supplementing and focus on an iron rich diet.
My last levo was about 25 hours before 😬 and my test was done fasted and at 8.40am.Im already taking a b complex, not that brand the other liposomal brand with the bluey green label 😂
I am vegan so should I stay supplementing? I've always had low iron from as long as I can remember 🙄
No vit d as this was just supposed to be a thyroid re test but I asked my gp to test iron as well so I could see if the iron patches were helping.
I’d be sceptical regarding iron patches but if your iron has always been low, then it looks like they are working as iron is a reasonable level now. How amazing.
Once iron mechanisms start working well, it can invite further restoration in like a cumulative effect. Iron might also be working better if thyroid hormones are working better as will influence each other.
Like supplementing iron tablets you will need ongoing monitoring for the moment to ensure iron doesn’t go to high.
FT4 looks high for a test taken 25 hours beforehand and your Levo dose needs reducing further. There is science showing that FT4 over-range slows conversation to FT3 and might induce some cardiac symptoms, eg palpitations, etc.
