Hi everyone, this is referring to my mum not me. I’m absolutely fuming. I paid for my mum to do private blood test through medichecks as her doctors only ever check TSH and her annual bloods were just to check that and hb1ac and it turns out she has type 2 diabetes. Her TSH was in range but I felt she needed to get her T4 and T3 checked as she always complains she’s cold and struggles to lose weight. However the doctor didn’t say anything about increasing levothyroxine because her TSH is in range. Her vitamin d and folate are low as well. I’m finding GP’s are really rushing through patients and not listening to what they have to say. It’s really frustrating. Her results are as follows.
GP, results and not increasing levothyroxine - Thyroid UK
GP, results and not increasing levothyroxine

Can you add all the results/ranges please, we can only see CRP and thyroid antibodies.
How much levothyroxine is she taking
What vitamin supplements aid she currently taking
What are actual vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Has she had coeliac blood test done
Is she on absolutely strictly gluten free
I don’t know what I’ve done but think I’ve reposted this twice with the same picture. She’s been on 25mcg since she started levothyroxine but she’s been on it for years. She doesn’t take any supplements. No she’s never had a test for coeliac. No she’s not on a gluten free diet.
To save having to type out all your results, there is a printable report. When you are logged in to your Medichecks account, select 'Your Results' and click 'View'.
Nearly at the top of the screen, on the right (on my PC) is 'Printable Results Report'. This report comes up on the screen, so you should be able to cut and paste the bits you want into your reply. This way you can omit anything which identifies your mum but shows all the details.
Hope this helps.
