Where can I get a ACTH blood test?

Hi all my quest to sort my thyroid issues out goes on and on. Hence, does anyone know where I can get a ACTH blood test done privately in the UK.

Really would appreciate some feedback

HiI have been investigating a private ACTH test because my endo refused and said it wasnt necessary and even if my ACTH was low he wouldn’t treat me! Where do you live? Some private clinics offer this test for example spire clinic in Cambridge where i may go once i have exhausted other tests.

Hi TT thank you for your reply. Forgive my ignorance, but how would an endo treat low ACTH? I suspect I have low ACTH which could be affecting thyroid meds I taking. Just wanted to explore ACTH issue.

I based on Merseyside and I have had thyroid blood tests done at Spire hospital close by to me. Not sure if I can just request a ACTH test at Spires if I am not affiliated to a specific clinic.

Hi DizzyD any luck with the ACTH test? I’m looking for this too. So far it seems the test can only be done in hospital. Is this true ?
