I wonder if you kind people on this forum can help me please? After undergoing RAI therapy my GP insists my (private) blood test results are all OK because the data is "within range" and that I am wrong to be concerned at the wide disparity in the ratios of Free T4 and Free T3. I still feel unwell, am not going to give up and intend to get a second opinion.
Can anyone recommend a thyroid-specialising endocrinologist in the West Country please?

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad and you have all my sympathies as I know exactly how unwell one can be and I didn't have RAI.
Contact our "mother site" who is Thyroiduk.org.uk who has a list of doctors/endos and one may be near you.

When you click on the link Shaws gave you there is a heading "Private Thyroid Doctors", you can click on that then on the "contact us" link.
Also, if you email Dionne at ThyroidUK she will send you the list of thyroid friendly endos
