Had my blood tests come back and my tsh is 0.06. Free t4 13 and free t3 is 4.8. My tsh has never been that low and my tsh has dropped from 24 to 15 to 13. Im not happy as ive gained nearly 2 stone in 14 months but ive also developed rheumatoid arthritis in that last 17 months and have only been on biologics for 7 weeks but did try 3 dmards before. Has this happened to anyone ? I have my endocrinologist calling me to discuss this.

Sorry should say. I grain ndt and 25mcg of thyroxine which equates to 125mcg.

Blood test done morning while fasting , just drunk water. Last meal was 6pm the night before. No meds or ndt taken for 26 hours. Not vitamin deficient. No vitamins being taken currently as not needed

Thank you. I already know about all the drug interactions apart from my ra meds. I did ask my other endo but no one is sure. My weight gain started as soon as i started methotrexate which is a dmard for treating Rheumatoid arthritis. I will ask again but i think its obvious that something is interfering with my thyroid meds

Im not on methotrexate, im on biologics so no need for folic acid

If you read my original post, it states ive tried 3 dmards which includes methotrexate. Further on it states i am now on a biological treatment

I grain of NDT is quite a low dose and took 1 1/2 grains when I took it and I did not mix it with Levo.

This is just my opinion but I have more help and support off this site than I have ever had off any Endo and I was actually offered counseling because I felt ill so I walked out of his clinic never to return. I just hope your Endo knows what they are doing and is not going by the TSH when it comes to NDT. I never had a blood tests when I took NDT and went by how I felt because I knew the TSH would be extremely low which it is when you take NDT.

Thanks , my endo is professor (name removed by admin) who is also a teacher at the local university. I have been seeing her for 22 yrs, no issues. No disrespect to anyone here but no one here is a endocrinologist , i just wondered if anyone had the same issue.

I wonder why you are bothering to ask members advice if you have an expert looking after you? Also I am very surprised that you still don’t feel well after so many years of being under her care.I won’t be adding to your thread anymore because I don’t think you are interested in my advice. So good luck to you and I hope you manage to eventually regain your health.

My issues started in January 2020 just after starting meds for my rheumatoid. Up until then i had no issues , hope that answers your questions

I take my meds every day at 7.30. I had my blood test the next day at around 9am. Thats not too late.

I agree

Im not concerned about my ndt or free t3 levels

Actually thats really not nice of you. Im stating facts to you as what you have suggested is not correct as you have assumed my situation. Comments like this put me off ever posting on here. My last time was 4 yrs ago solely because of this reason

And as you say i have an expert endo so i have my tests according to what they instruct so im not wrobg

Wow..... think thats considered bullying isnt it ? Stuck around longer being spoken to like that ? Your incredibly rude

Like i said your very rude. I expect more from an adult than nasty words.
