Not feeling good terrible head buzz and ear ringing. My endo has said if it continues raise an extra 1:4 grain twice a week I’m on 2 grains at moment. I’ve heard you shouldn’t do that with NDT so should I raise 1/4 grain daily?

It would be good if you could put your situation in your post to save people having to go and look to see what you're taking...
Not sure without reading every previous post why you're on NDT and not Levo...
But your T3 is still fairly high Whereas the t4 is low and that could be causing symptoms... perhaps leave ndt and add in t4? I have found that it's not just about optimising T3, I really don't like having low t4 - gives me ear noises and head pressure amongst other things.
I am not a good converter. I disagree think t3 needs to be higher but my question is can you take different NDT doses daily ie 2 1/4 grains alternate days?
I said t4 needs to be higher. Obviously if you add any more ndt you'll be over range on T3. Lots of people take different amounts on alternate days. It's up to you. Try it and see.
It is my understanding that when taking NDT T4 can go low but I see this as good conversion as it generally means you have a higher T3 which is the most important number.
With any thyroid hormone replacement it's about being consistent, and low and slow increments :
If you are planning a 1/4 grain increase you take 2 + 1/4 grain each day for around 10 days and then reassess your symptoms, temperature and blood pressure charts that you have been maintaining throughout this trial.
The blood tests and ranges were initially introduced to be used alongside Big Pharma's launch of synthetic thyroid hormone replacement T4 - Levothyroxine :
Is my endo wrong in saying you can do 21/4 alternate days?
Yes. This is because of the T3 element in NDT. T3 has a short half life (around 24 hours) compared to T4 which has a half life of around 7 days, and as such we need the same amount of T3 every day. So when we take NDT or T3 alone or Levo plus T3 then then because of the T3 we shouldn't take different amounts on different days.
1/4 of a grain will contain, depending on brand, approx 2 - 2.25mcg T3. It also contains about 9mcg - 9.5mcg T4. Some of the T4 may convert to T3. So there is a possibility that it may take your FT3 over range, but I don't think anyone can say for sure.
