T3 toxicosis

Can t3 toxicosis cause sleeping disorder I do wake up with fast heartbeat while i fell my heart fluttering the chest and abdomen . how can I treat t3 toxicosis because I have a low tsh, normal t4 but elevated t3. At night I don't have enough sleep due to this problem

Trouble sleeping very common with hyperthyroid. As is palpitations. The propranolol is used to help relieve symptoms, it is usually used temporarily. The carbimazole you were prescribed will reduce the high thyroid levels. You will need to be monitored so you stay within range, as remaining too high or falling too low must be avoided. How long have you been taking carbimazole? 6 weekly testing is standard, are you in UK?

TSH will rise once your levels are normalised.....(usually) but it often lags behind, so dose should be adjusted by FT4 & FT3.

Has the cause of the hyperthyroid been confirmed? Have they tested thyroid Antibodies. Eg: TPO, TG, TSI or TRab.
