Can you help us to help you please.

To be able to comment on your results we need to know:

1) When did you take your last dose before the test - last dose should be 24 hours before blood draw?

2) Did you do the test early morning, no later than 9am, with nothing to eat or drink except water beforehand?

3) Do you take any supplements? If so do you take B complex or Biotin and did you leave this off for 7 days before the test?

4) How do you feel?

1) yes 24 hrs before test

2) 08.00 blood draw no food or drink

3)vit b stopped 7 days before test. Selenium and vit d.

4) I feel ok. I never feel tired. Sleep is a bit hit and miss wake up and takes ages to go off again. I yawn a lot.

I’m doing keto I do go off the rails now and again mind. I’m going to have a look at my diet as my HDL is low and the other nearly at its limit.

The aim of a treated hypo patient on Levo only, generally, is for TSH to be 1 or lower with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their reference ranges if that is where you feel well.

Your TSH isn't too bad, FT4 is 94% through range and your FT3 is 50% through range. This suggests that your conversion of T4 to T3 isn't that good.

Optimal nutrient levels are needed for good conversion, levels recommended are

Vit D - 100-150nmol

B12 - at least 550pg/ml for Total B12, better is near the top of the range, and for Active B12 100+ is a good level

Folate - at least half way through range

Ferritin - half way through range

If your nutrients are all at optimal levels then you may benefit from the addition of T3 to a slightly lower dose of Levo.

I will re check all them Monday. I’m seeing Gp F2F next week. Will discuss T3 on prescription if he won’t I’ll have to buy some.

I did have a message with the suppliers in. I scroll back and find it.

I don’t think I’ll ever be on an even keel. Thank you 😊

GP can't initiate prescription for T3, only an endo can do that and after a trial if endo agrees you should continue on T3 then the GP takes over prescribing.

Not what you're looking for?
