No pharmacy will issue me the prescribed thyroid medication (Aristo)

Hi,

I’m trying to find a pharmacy which can issue me the Aristo L-Thyroxine (I have a prescription). I live in London, but all pharmacies I asked said they can’t order it.

If you are on Aristo: Where did you get it from?! And isn’t it the pharmacies job to order the medication for me if they don’t have it and I have a specific prescription?

I am really desperate, this is the only brand which works for me :( Until now I got it from Germany, but obviously I can’t get there now, or in the near future

My Boots branch are very good at getting the lio that I like. Don't know if its just the local staff that are very good...I live in a small town at the back of beyond in Scotland.

Have you e-mail the company in Germany to see if they can suggest anything..or phone them.

I spoke to Aristo in Berlin today. Lovely people, went above and beyond, but were unable to give me an address or chain they deliver it to. They advised to contact an international pharmacy in London, which I did, bit didn’t get through to them today.

Try any tiny independent pharmacies you can find ...often a lot more willing to help

Try Springfield Pharmacy in Richmond. They source my German T3 which I am prescribed on the NHS and post it to me once they receive my prescription.

Aristo replied when I enquired for a friend. They told me that every pharmacy in Britain should be able to supply it and gave me instructions to pass to her pharmacy.

If you PM me your email address I will forward to you the email I received with full instructions for details of how any pharmacy can order Aristo from them.

Hi there! I would be grateful for any info you have about Aristo. I have had dreadful problems with Teva rubbish. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer some years ago and never had any problems with Levothyroxine until Teva came along. My local Pharmacy got me Aristo but with no guarantee they can get more.Sue

Hi I get my Aristo 100mcg from collins chemist in west London. I have to say I’ve tried every single brand and ARISTO hands down is the best for me

Thanks @ all.

After experiencing another very disappointing and quite rude customer “service” of a big online pharmacy (they even called Aristo an “obscure pharma company” and pretty much blamed me for not being able to use the cheap sxxx they sell) who bluntly refused helping me, I finally found a pharmacy who was able to order my medication within a few hours, without any problems. Lovely pharmacist, who didn’t even needed the Aristo contact details one of you lovely people provided. I am happy to drive the 20 miles for this medication every few months.

I’m on Aristo now for almost a week, and already feel a difference. I am working nightshifts (for 20 years) and was barely able to make it through the night. This week was superrelaxing so far. I managed my 12 hr shifts without any problems, and I really hope this is my very happy end :)

Can any one help me find a supply of Aristo I’m in South Yorkshire and need it.
