Second, Third Opinion Of Blood Results

Hi ....I have just got my blood results and I’m am seeking your opinion....back story is I was taking Erfa 60mg with 25 mg thyroxine in the morning and 30mg Erfa in the evening. I was also taking Vitamin D 2000iu and omega.3 fish oil 1360mg daily.

I have been on that for a while and symptoms that I associate with Myxoedema came back. Had my yearly bloods taken by my doctors then spoke to my private Endiocronolgy who thought they were fine ....I disagreed

Results 5th August 2030

T3 4.7 3.10 -6.80

T4 13.1 12.00-22.00

THS 0.32 0.27-4.20

I got my Endo to prescribe Armour as when I was previously taking Armour I felt better but was being over treated. When my the dosage was changed my Endo changed me to Erfa because of the cost and he said there was not much difference in the composition of the T4 & T3 in Erfa and Armour.

So it was a straight swap of medication but same dosage 60mg armour 25mg thyroxine in the morning and 30mg in the evening. I decided to alternate 25mg one and 50mg on the other day and I do feel better.

I stopped taking my supplements two weeks to be on the safe side before my bloods were taken and 24 after my last dose of medication.

I just got my full results back from the doctors today apart from folate as there is a shortage of reagent. I am seeking some informed opinion about the results please and the best way to go forward.

I was given a trial of NP Thyroid for about seven months and anything under 120 mg of it gave me Myxoedema symptoms but I wasn't adding any liothyronine to doses under 120mg. 88mcg was my dose on T4 only. I could not feel stable on NDT without getting close to a physiological dose of T4 and to get that I had to take 120mg but at that point I was overdosed because of the increase of T4 and T3 together. That was my experience.
