You're not on thyroid meds and won't get them from your GP with TSH in range. But you don't feel great, and free T4 is very low - only 18% through range; free T3 is better at 42% through range, but still low. You really want these both to be higher.
Have you had antibodies tested? If those are over-range and given the feeble T4 result you might get a prescription for a starter dose of levo ... otherwise you're looking at self-medicating x
Yep I know, I was just curious whether you had any history of raised TSH so I could understand whether the GP had any scope to prescribe it. Maybe it's central hypothyroidism. Have you asked them about that?
He laughed? What a pr***. Can you see anyone else? It's so unfair that they put people with zero energy in a position where they have to fight so hard, but in my experience being super persistent and annoying, e.g. booking frequent appts with the same complaints even though you know they won't do anything, just to cost them money and time so they realise that you aren't going to just disappear without a resolution, it may help you get the care you need. Make them realise that by not treating you, you are costing more healthcare resources through frequent appts. Or maybe change your GP surgery/endo. Some are a lot better than others...
I think you really need to rule out your symptoms being due to something like vitamin deficiency etc. Cos those results don't scream thyroid. But yes get antibodies tested for info.
