Hello, I have just got my latest blood results which do not look good. Could someone remind me how to find the calculator to show the ranges of FT4 and FT3 please? Thank you.

There you go!

But, if you're going to post your results on here, we prefer to see the results and the ranges, rather than just the percentage. :)

Thank you!

FT4. 20.65. (12-22)

FT3. 3.3. (3.1-6.8)

TSH 0.398 (0.27-4.20)

Not good - just waiting for vitamin level results.

Well, you're obviously a very poor converter. Your FT3 is very low, so that would account for any symptoms.

Poor conversion can be down to low nutrients, so be interesting to see why your results for those are.

I would be grateful for your comments on these results:

Ferritin 94.86. (13-150)

Folate 4.89. (3.89-26.80)

B12 307 (197-771)

Thyroglobulin 0.4

Vitamin D not back yet.

Thanks.

Your ferritin is OK, but your folate and B12 are too low. You might do well to take a good B complex with methylcobalamin and methylfolate. See how it goes. :)

I was taking the igennus Super B Comple. previously but have been without for a few weeks. Thank you so much for your advice.

Hello again - thanks for your help with these results. Can you give me an idea where the conversion rate should be please?

FT4. 86%

FT3 5.41%

The FT3 should only be slightly below the FT4, but obviusly it will vary from person to person. With your FT4 level the FT3 should be around 80%, say. But, it's not an exact science. You definitely have poor conversion!

Thank you. So here I go again - probably another fruitless discussion with doctor/oncologist/endocrinologist - or all three!

Sorry to hear that. Keeping fingers crossed for you. :)
