Im hoping someone can help me please, I have severe hypo symptoms, Im totally disabled by them, can do little more than lie in bed or the sofa, painful stiff muscles, scaly intensely itchy dry skin plus all the other typical hypo symptoms, to say its miserable is an under statement. I dont even look like me any more.
Ive posted on here several times and Ive followed the advice to have vitamins and minerals checked which are all at a good level. I take my levothyroxine an hour before breakfast and well away from any other medicines.
Ive asked , practically begged my endocrinologist for a trial if T3 but just says my blood tests are fine and theres no evidence T3 works. My gp says the same and when I asked for a private prescription, it was no because of those reasons.
Ive barely left my house in a year, nor seen my family even before lockdown just too poorly for visitors, its awful and I feel like I have no other choice than to source T3 myself but I wouldnt know where to start . I know I cant ask on the open forum for where to buy it but please if anyone can help me can you send me a private message. Im wanting to stay on T4 while adding T3, I cant take NDT as it has calcitonin in it which I cant take.
I take 125mcg of levothyroxine and results stay very similar each time, neither endocrinologist or GP want to change my dose given my results and I dont want to up the dose anyway.
My last 3 blood tests were 6-8 weeks apart and all done by medichecks. I only have the last 3 results to hand but theyve been like this for many months.
