Hi guys, I asked a question about 3 weeks ago and now I have some more update... so starting from the beginning, I have had a raised temperature 37.2-37.5 the last 5 months and have been feeling sleepy, tired, anxious, I gained weight (3kg the last month), my hair started falling out excessively about 2 weeks ago, I am constantly shivering and cold, but my face feels like it's burning. I gave birth 11 months ago. My bloods came back normal. My TSH and T4 were normal. I suspect it could be postpartum thyroiditis or hashimoto. My gp did not see any problem and didn't want to do more tests, but luckily I found a private clinic and got more tests for my thyroid. These are from a week ago:
TSH was 0,892 (normal range 0.27-4.2),
Free T4 was 19.06 (normal range 12-22),
Free T3 was 5.27 (normal range 3.13-6.76)
Antibodies TG were higher 164.9 (normal range <115)
Antibodies TPO were 20 (normal range <34)
Thyroglobulin was lower 2.96 (normal range 3.5-77.0).
Would anyone have an idea what it could be? Do you guys think this could result in a raised temperature? Just now I measured it again and it was 37.4... I'm really worried about all this. Thank you for any help!

I don't think I can help very much, but this is a start:
Your thyroid and TSH results are in range but that doesn't mean they are optimal for you.
Your FT4 is quite good 70.60% through range but FT3 is only 58.95% which means your T4/T3 conversion is not good. Most of us need both in the top part of the range
.
Did you have a test for inflammation, such as "CRP" levels in the full blood count (FBC) section of the test results? This may have something to do with your temperature. although, unless your normal temperature is lower than average, 78.4 isn't that high.
Do you feel shaky? If you stretch out your hands in front of you, palms down and place a small weight on your hands is there any tremor?
How long have you felt like this, was it before or after the blood test?
My guess is that you need an increase in thyroid hormone. Are you on thyroxine? What dose? And did you do a fasting test as early as possible in the morning (before 9), no tea or coffee, only water to drink, and before taking your thyroid meds? Are you taking any B vitamins? Biotin can interfere with the test results and should be left off for several days before the test.
Lots of questions, but may help to get to the bottom of this.
I would imagine you are not taking thyroid meds from what you say? What made you think it was your thyroid causing you problems?
I can only speak from my experience with body temp and thyroid but I think it is more usual to have low body temp; mine struggles to get above 36.1 although adding T3 to my meds did bring it up to 36.5 ish but its now down again since I started HRT.
Low body temp used to be what doctors looked at to check for low thyroid before TSH came along; it was then used as a measure of how effective the prescribed treatment was. Your TSH is in range so it doesn't seem like you are hyperactive. Maybe widen your net of investigation??
I'm sure others who can give definitive advice will respond soon but I just though I could perhaps give you some food for thought
All the very best for getting to the bottom of whatever it is.
