Got the retest done after 6 weeks and result as follows:

Tsh: 1.82 miu/l (0.35 to 5.00)

Free T4: 18 pmol/l (12 to 24)

Free T3: 4.5 pmol/l (3.4 to 5.9)

I have a slight swelling on the thyroid. Lacking energy. Sensitive to temperature, and have intense heat sensations. And heart palpitations. I am not on thyroid medication and haven't been diagnosed.

I will be seeing my endocrinologist, what should I ask him in term of further testing.

Hi there

You posted some results just over 3 weeks ago which showed slightly higher free T4 (24 with a range which ended at 22, so just over range) and the replies suggested testing antibodies. So were those results a few weeks old when you posted them ? Did you get the antibodies tested?

I see that you are in Canada, and things could be different there - but over here, a GP would say your results are nicely in range and conclude you were euthyroid.

Thanks.

Yes, the last test done was in early April. I didnt get the antibodies test.

I agree that the endocrinologist is going to conclude that test results are in range. I will mention the slight swelling of the thyroid.
