Metavive II dosing after Thyroid S

Hi all,

I recently asked for advice on what to do as my Thyroid S was stopped in France and many advised to temporarily go with Metavive. My Metavive II arrived today but I have no idea how to dose it! 😱

Anyone here that made a move from NDT to Metavive II and could advise? 🙏🏼

I am on 3.5 grains of Thyroid S and feel great.

Try 5 Metavive ii initially. If that doesn’t feel right after a few weeks (for me, I think best a tad under than over) add another.

I swapped from NT, but couldn’t tolerate Thai S to judge the strength, so I’m not sure about a direct swap. You could try introducing Metavive gradually if you have enough NDT left.

I was on 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 thyroid s and I am on 3 Metavive 1 a day and getting similar blood test results. It seems very much an individual thing as I know people who where on similar dose of thyroid s as myself who need 5 and 6 respectively of Metavive 2. I started on 2 and tested after 7 weeks then upped to 3.

Hi AnnaSo Do you still take metavive 11? Did you find out how to increase dose, i want to find out as well but cant find information. What dose did you end up on?
