Recently there was a post asking about any evidence for the ill effects of Fluoride on Thyroid. If you put onto Google the words

Fluoride Thyroid UK

They have a very interesting 2 page article. This refers to an 8 page article. In the Thyroid Uk article it gives the information on the relative amounts of fluoride in the different types of Tea. eg Green tea has more than black tea.

The fluoride you find in tea is not the same as the fluoride they put in toothpaste and water. The former is natural, the latter is industrial waste!

I appreciate this as I use salt to kill weeds, however, salt isn’t added to our drinking water. (Actually I don’t think that ours is fluoridated, thank goodness.). It was a bit of a throw-away remark on my part.

No - salt isn't (so far as I know) added to our drinking water. But we have had numerous posts suggesting taking a glass of water with salt dissolved in it. :-)
