The front page header says fluoride is linked to weight gain and depression but the article talks about thyroid problems.
I'm wondering why the header isn't what I have put for mine - why say it causes weight gain and depression when the article really seems to be about thyroid problems?
First, I was unaware that areas of the UK flouride the water. It has now been decided it affects the thyroid gland giving the symptoms. Hopefully it will make regulations that no flouride is added to drinking water whatsoever.
What other affects will flouride have in some years to come when all the dots are joined? Reading between the lines it is the thyroid gland which is most affected at present by flouride thus depression and weight gain.
They don't want to put the cat amongst the pigeons, I suppose. Flouride is in toothpastes and particularly childrens. How many parents read the warning on the back of the tube where it says children under 6 must be supervised, only put a pea-size on the brush. Or do the children do-it-themselves (I think most do) so they will be ingesting flouride. The baby teeth come out anyway so why add flouride. My father went to the dentist once in his lifetime and had all his teeth.
The Telegraph has had some good articles re the thyroid gland in recent months but it's getting a diagnosis which remains the problem.
As I said in the other post about fluoride today, it lowers IQ, destroys bones and calcifies the pineal gland - which can lead to Alzheimer's. Brilliant idea!
I think we're already feeling the effects of the lowered IQs!
Perhaps it's because of the fluoride that we get the awful BBC programmes! I've given up listening to them. Too stupid! Especially the drama - and badly acted! I could write them AND star in them and do a much better job than they do! All the writers went to the Jeffrey Archer school of writing, and the actors to the Schula Archer school of drama. And don't get me started on the so-called 'comedies'!!!
Good heavens - and my husband thinks it's just me. Apart from the general rubbish I keep hearing the most awful howlers.
On the way home from work tonight someone on the local radio station was talking about a listener who had emailed to say how much he enjoyed listening to their interview with Stephen Hawking's first wife - seems 'he (the listener) listened while he was having lunch on his laptop! '
I can only hope he gave his laptop a good wipe before he started using it again in the afternoon 😃
Someone mentioned on another thread - which reminded me - that fluoride was once used to suppress the thyroid when overactive It is also used in anti-depressants I believe as one of the ingredients.....
The history of how it came from factory waste into our daily products is well documented - good article on Mercola.com .....
Perhaps because it wants to sell copies of its newspaper. Obesity and depression are hot news. Nobody cares about the thyroid except when it stops working. Doubt the man on the Clapham omnibus even knows where the thyroid is!
