Happy New Year... but here we go again! Please could anybody help me determine what I do next...
Bloods taken 24 December 2019
TSH 0.08 range 0.2 - 5.5
Lab didn't test T4 and T3 even though Doctor requested it!
Ferritin 15ug/L range 10 - 300.00
B12 1449 range 180.0 - 1,000
Folate 42u5 >24 (>4.00)
I am taking 1 and 1/4 NDT + 50mcg of Levo thyroxine (as per endos suggestion on 8th October 2019). A few weeks prior to Christmas I started getting tired again, back to bed in middle of the day, heart pounding, really strained tired eye vision, stiffness in neck and sore feet after standing or walking a short distance! I also picked up Thrush again (had this many times over the years). I am constantly fatigued, itching, dry skin and heart irregularities. I am a poor converter (as per my previous results). I have had a full year now of not being stable... I don't know what to do, please could anybody offer advice. X

I am surprised the lab did not test at least your T4. Can you afford to do a private blood test with medichecks? I have given up asking for a full thyroid function blood test because as soon as they see my TSH is in range they ignore the GPs request. Even after being admitted to hospital last year with a suspected heart attack which turned out to be a Thyroid storm the lab refused to test anything more than my TSH but they threw in liver function test for some bizarre reason.
Why don't you try just NDT if you are a poor convertor? I was on 1 and half grains when I took Thyroid S and I felt ok until a flare up of my Graves' and had to stop it. I am now on my second remission in 12 years ... my last one lasted 4 years but then I went hypo and was bedridden for 2 so I had to self treat with Thyroid S from Thailand because the GP would not help because my TSH was in range.
Ferritin is dire. GP should do full iron panel test for Anaemia
Vitamin D needs testing
You need to retest 6-8 weeks after any dose change in NDT or Levothyroxine
Bloods should be retested as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test and 8-12 hours after last NDT dose
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
Cheapest option for just TSH, FT4 and FT3 £29 (via NHS private service )
Thanks for responding SlowDraggon... I obviously have a problem with ferritin, I am always low, despite supplementing with x2 lots of ferrous fumarate spread throughout the day. Maybe need to increase to x 3 per day if I can tolerate it and then retest alongside full thyroid panel... I also won't bother to ask GP in future for bloods if they aren't going to be tested, will just buy my own. Thanks for your help.
