Hi, I have Hashimotos and am currently on 100mcg Levothyroxine. My blood results this week are
Serum TSH 0.18 - (0.35-4.94)
Serum Free T4 14.8 - (9.01-19.25)
Vitamin D 64.5 - (80-150)
I’m wondering if my low TSH indicates that I should be on a lower dose of Levo, or whether a fluctuating TSH is a feature of Hashimotos? I also have Atrial Fibrillation, and take Warfarin and Bisoprolol and my palpitations are more noticeable atm. I’ve got a phone appointment with my GP next week so want to be prepared with the right questions. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

No, a low TSH on its own doesn't indicate anything. Your FT4 indicates that you could probably do with an increase in dose, because it's only 56.54% through the range. It would probably be higher than that if you were on the right dose. Being on too low a dose is very bad for the heart.
Many thanks, SlowDragon. I don't have a recent folate result. You're right, I'm going to have to go back to Medichecks for full testing. I'm not gluten free. I've been resisting it...
An earlier post of yours mentioned Low Folate. Has this improved ? Raised Ferritin - was this resolved with further iron testing as suggested. Both these could be linked to your cardio symptoms - along with low in range T3.
Raised Ferritin could suggest inflammation which again is linked to heart issues.
The ferritin had dropped to within range on the next blood test, although I haven't had folate re-tested. Think I'll need to get a full test with Medichecks. Thanks for the advice. x
