So, I’m really confused as to what my thyroid is doing these days... As my pituitary has definitely taken a holiday (diabetes insipidus, central hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency) I’m wondering if meds I take for the three conditions interact with each other?
Central hypothyroidism. 75 mg Synthroid at 3:00 am
My labs are
TSH. 0.2 mlU/mL (0.3-4.2)
T3F. 3.4 pg/mL (2.8-4.4)
T4F. 1.2 ng/nL (.09-1.7)
Had vitamins checked along with minerals. All at upper end of normal except D3. I’m supplementing with 2,000 units ( 47 ng/mL (20-50 ng/nL for healthy, higher for health compromised)).
I’m not using anything but Synthroid, noT3F.
I’m sweating again, not sleeping , and am getting worse each day. Meeting with chief endo in September 11. Help! What do you think?
Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks for your response. The last time they tried to increase my dose I was jittery, couldn’t sleep, felt strange. That was end of June. Dose was 88.5. Backed down to 75 mcg levo, then to 75 mcg Synthroid. I was starting to get better with sweating and sleep. Now I’m sweating again and can’t sleep. I feel very ill.
Teresamarie, it's weird that our labs have a simular result. I asked my Endo about Central Hypothyroidism and he said....no,no. Lol.
I'm also having issues with my lymph nodes and now have to do the Thyrogren injection, low iodine diet and full body scan to make sure my thyroid cancer hasnt taken up residence some place else in my body and causing crazy lymph nodes.
Below are my most recent labs, so you can see the resemblances (not exact) I did have some on and off jittery feelings so I welcomed the slight increase of T4 meds and reduction of Cytomel and surprise my joints don't hurt as bad, could be a fluke. My cholesterol jumped high and my inflammation markers also got much higher. I once was on only synthyroid and then combo t4/t3 and armour thyroid and my TSH has always been scraping the bottom. I often wonder if these Endos are missing something.
From my personal thyroid journey I found when I try to dose with a bit more NDT for my T3 mix I get sweaty , hungry, brain fuggy , fatigue ,insomnia, thigh muscle weakness . I'm fine with FT3 in the high 2's and FT4 at 1.2 and TSH a bit higher . Others may feel better with high FT3 and very low FT4 .
Journaling symptoms and cross referencing with lab values is very helpful .
It's important to know what feels right for ones self . It's very individual. Nutrients are very important it helps the thyroid meds work better .
Having Gut and Digestive issues addressed is very important . Conversions of T4 to T3 takes place in the liver .
I'm currently dealing with major stomach issues and a chronic cough that I've had for 4 months. Sitting here right now at Doctors with no real answer what gives with my cough. Having xray in a bit. It's just annoying dealing with one issue after another and reason for problems except No Thyroid..everything come back to thyroid
By the way tightness in the throat or feeling like a lump in the throat and dry coughs may signal hypo symptoms. Having FT3 FT4 TSH values would be very helpful .
I can definitely understand your frustration as it seems to be happening to me also. Screaming in the closet doesn’t seem to be the answer! Maybe that’s why we are here together, to support each other. We maybe miles apart but as close as the phone!
