In the list of Drug Interactions, there are no reports of interference.
I've been taking it for years for breast pain and no known problems but I am on NDT
It didn't when I took it. It didn't do anything at all! It's often recommended that people take it if levo is causing hair-loss, so not likely to be a problem.
I’ve tried it recently twice (two doses with a couple of months break in between) and they completely removed my pmt symptoms from the first cycle but they also made me break in horrible cystic spots on my back so I sadly had to discontinue☹️
I have been taking EPO for years, on the recommendation of my doctor, at the same time as the thyroxine and have had no problems with interaction at all.
EPO is a mood leveller, so not sure why it is always targeted at women; and my skin is in better shape on it provided I am still careful with what soaps, shampoos and detergents I use, but it's possibly neither here nor there as far as thyroid is concerned, so a matter of individual preference. (I noticed my skin did get drier without it when I was economising on supplements.)
Further to HLAB35, as a mood leveller it is an absolute no-no if on antidepressants, antipsychotics or medicines that are mood-stabilisers without first talking to GP. It increases effects and so can make them toxic. (very serious)
