Which tests? TSH or FT4? What are the results (including reference ranges)?

Autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) causes fluctuations in test results and you can swing from hyper to hypo and back again. You would need thyroid antibodies tested to confirm Hashi's - Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) and Thyroglobulin (Tg).

Replies to your previous post mentioned all the tests that are recommended.

This can happen with Hashimoto's, I'm sure forum members with more information and experience will respond to explain further.

When you say "I am not going to have another test to confirm what it is" do you mean your GP has said they will not order any more tests?

i wasn't told they have said that I need to do another one in two weeks

You had excellent and comprehensive advice to your previous post, but didn't reply regarding your actual blood test results. It might be useful to go back and re-read the thread to help with understanding where you are at, currently, what might be going on, and what needs to happen next.

I have read the responses, I would appreciate people to support rather than tell me what to do. I wish to deal with the matter in the way I feel comfortable. Whats the point of asking a break down of everything if my results have changed?

When you see a user name of Hidden, it means that the person is no longer a member of this forum.

We often close posts that were originated by people who have left - there is no point in wasting our time making replies. Occasionally, the thread might still be active and popular and will be left. More often, it is simply a case of none of the admins noticing!

I shall now be closing this post to replies.
