I am always Ill???

I am on Levothyroxine 100mg and this last couple of years I have had one illness after the other?.

I got diverticulitis off work for 4 months I just went back then I caught an acute chest infection??? Cold sores all the way from my nose to my lips.

I am taking extra vitamin C and B complex and iron.

Does anyone know what I can take to boost my immune system as I’m fed up with getting ill????

Thanks

More levo? Sounds like you're under-medicated. 100 mcg is only a small dose. Do you have any lab test results to share with us?

No unfortunately I have not been tested for a while?.

Perhaps it's time you had one, then. :) That would be the best place to start.

Zinc for the time being can be very helpful boosting your immune system . Having all your thyroid values FT4 FT3 TSH Vitamin "D"/K2 , B12/folate , Iron/ferritin can be very telling .

Thank you very much for that, I already take calcichew + vit D and b complex and iron as my body doesn’t make enough apparently?, I’m now trying vitamin c also and now I’ve ordered zinc thanks for the advice and I hope this will keep me well???

Thanks again

I would be careful with the Iron unless you tested for it and know that you are low and need it .

Wishing you Wellness .
