To all you fathers out there, Happy Fathers Day. It’s today here too but your Mother’s Day is different I believe ours was around May 15th this year. Too lazy to go look and it doesn’t matter anyways.

Happy Fathers Day to the men in your family as well! Wishing you all the best and hoping your new meds will help you feel better! Hugs from Elena! LOL

Do you still have your father? Mine has been gone for 19 years but still in my thoughts. I do have a husband and a son though. My gift to my husband was to encourage him to go camping in our fifth wheel for a week or so. He has been housebound with me for five years now and desperately needs a break. My sister is coming to babysit me lol. It’s the fatigue that’s the problem.

Day one on the meds and ok.

It’s lovely out here in the Wild West. How about there?

You have a good day tomorrow too.

Sadly, my dad died in 1988 at 55 years old from a sudden heart attack - and I miss him terribly every day. But, thank God, I’ve still got my mom - she’s 86 - and so that’s a big blessing.

I remember you telling me about your husband’s upcoming trip, and hope he has a wonderful time. Those who take care of us deserve that. And I will be celebrating with my hubby and son tomorrow. I also hope you have a great visit with your sister. How lucky that she can come stay with you! I have no relatives close by - they are all in the US.

At least you are feeling OK today! I guess you got your prescription - so that’s some progress forward - and wishing it stays that way for you. You’ve been through a lot and you deserve to feel better. All the best.

Thanks Elena. So sad about your dad passing so young. I was so lucky. Mom was 88 and Dad was 93. Good English stock. (I’m first generation Canadian).

I’m didn’t even try it. Sorry but not sure what it is you wanted me to ask them.

I thought as you live in Canada, I thought Thyroid Foundation of Canada thyroid.ca/--- especially with their toll free phone, and it being more local, you could to ask them them the same questions you ask in the UK.
