My parathyroid level was 7.2 (1.10-6.90) in April, have since had another which has come back 7.0 andwas told had something to do with vitamin D which came back at 52 (50.00-174) which I know is low . My B12 came back normal at 359 (180-999) but I would like it at at least the half way mark but am told it’s fine so no B12 prescription even though I am so tired all the time and dizzy. I know you said on here before but I’ve forgotten so could you give me the best vit D and best B12 to buy without all the bulking agents in them. I believe amazon was the place to get them from.
Many thanks

You might want to read up about hyperparathyroidism. See parathyroid.com.
My daughter's calcium was always in range, along with elevated parathyroid hormone. Yup, had two tumors removed. My calcium was only .3 above range once along with elevated PTH. Yup, I too had parathyroid tumors. Biggest issues with hyperparathyroidism was the fatigue and bone pain. And both of us have Hashi's. That's another story.

For Vit D you could go with the BetterYou oral spray, personally it has too many excipients in it for me so I would go with sublingual drops - Vitabay Organics are pure, no excipients.
1 drop = 1000iu. Use however many drops you need. For a level of 50nmol/L you would need 4000-5000iu daily. Retest in 3 months, adjust dose to a maintenance dose once you've reached 125nmol/L.
When taking D3 you need the important cofactors, Vit K2-MK7 and magnesium.
D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and K2-MK7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be deposited and cause problems such as hardening of the arteries, kidney stones, etc.
D3 and K2 are fat soluble so should be taken with the fattiest meal of the day, D3 four hours away from thyroid meds if taking tablets/capsules/softgels, no necessity if using an oral spray or sublingual drops.
Magnesium helps D3 to work. We need Magnesium so that the body utilises D3, it's required to convert Vit D into it's active form. So it's important we ensure we take magnesium when supplementing with D3.
Magnesium comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds if taking tablets/capsules, no necessity if using topical forms of magnesium.
Couldn’t find it on here but remembered I’d done a screen shot of two things.one was super B Complex, high strength B Vits with folate, B6&B12 plus vitC, the other was Folate 1,333MCG DFE melafolin 8a mcg. My gp said dont get the vit d as a gel coating due to bad absorption just the ordinary tablet.
