Hi all, apologies I don't have any of the levels but I was wondering if you could give me some guidance on my next steps. I've been taking t3 for over a year now but was concerned about what it may do to me long term so I've been seeing a private consultant. I showed him my previous medichecks results and he basically said he didn't really believe t3 helps for reverse t3 so I didnt mention I'd been taking it (naughty I know). He first took my bloods in December and said everything seemed fine so thought it my be worth testing cortisol levels for cushings syndrome given my symptoms. I stopped taking t3 for about a week this time. After this time he was concerned that my free t4 was very low so tested again. This time I stayed away from the t3 for weeks. My free t3 and t4 are fine but tsh is 5.9. Does this sound like a normal reaction to coming off t3?
