Thyroid S price rise

Just to let people know that I've had emails from the company where I get my Thyroid S NDT, that prices have recently risen 300% The company that sources these to sell are not happy and wanted to warn customers. This is being followed by all other NDT manufacturers. Something is happening that means all companies currently feel they can get away with these rises. Not sure what is happening so just warning people.

This was posted about, two days ago. The explanation for the price rise was given as "Sriprasit, the manufacturer of Thyroid-S increased the selling price and said there would be a lack-of-stock situation again soon, due to changes to Thailand customs rules that affect the availability of the ingredients of Thyroid-S. We strongly recommend you all to grab your chance to have the pills in hand." So if that is the case, and presumably the specific changes in Thai Customs laws can be readily verified, then it's nothing to do with the pharmaceutical companies, avaricious or otherwise, nor supply and demand. I'm assuming it is referring to the substantial overhaul of the country's outdated Customs Laws in place since 1926, by the new Customs Act 2017, whose effect and enforcement, like all new legislation, is often slow/gradual as different aspects are tested out. It's unhelpful psychologically, to think that everyone is out to get us; and I can't believe that the instigators of the law changes were other than focused on matters pertaining to import and export.

Hi

Bought some today in Bangkok and no change in price, in fact Thyroid s was slightly cheaper than 2 weeks prior, also bought Thiroyd and again no change on last years prices, also worth noting Thyroid S upped the prices last year by 300%, did you read old news maybe or your supplier is pulling a fast one?

Best Regards

Steve

Hi could you recommend a pharmacy in Bangkok where I could buy this. I’m staying near the airport for a couple of days.

Thanks

That is an price hike of ? %

300% raise. £17-£59 is maddening! I heard it’s to do with less pigs as there’s a swine flu issue again. I could be wrong.
