Hi...new to this and only diagnosed hypo 7 weeks ago...just got bloods back and told by receptionist all is normal...just wondered what you think...will be making an appointment with my doc tomorrow to discuss what next as I feel totally rubbish most of the time.
My free t4 was 11pmol/L
My tsh was 4.9 mIU/L
They were the only results the receptionist printed off...was tested for coeliac disease and b12 too but dont know what those results were...I've been trested for b12 for just over a year.
Anyone can tell me what these results mean please
Thank you

Usually with a print out, there are the results and the reference ranges which are possibly in brackets, often at the side of the result.
Can you please add the ranges for your results so that we can comment and you will be in a better position to discuss them with your doctor tomorrow. Ranges vary from lab to lab, I'm guessing your TSH is either at the top of it's range or over range. No idea where your FT4 lies though, it could be low in range, it could be below range, or if the ranges are the same as my lab's then it's mid-range.
Welcome to our forum and I would copy and paste your results with the ranges into your Profile and a short history of your journey. to be diagnosed. Ranges are important as labs differ and so do the ranges.
Did you get the earliest time for the blood draw, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between your last dose and the test? If not your results wont be accurate.
Never accept normal with regard to results and always get a print-out and ensure ranges are stated.
Welcome. In your appt tomorrow all you need to point out is tsh is still over range and you need an increase in levo of 25mcg. Pointless to pay out just yet get your tsh down to about 1 first and then if still feeling bad pay for full testing. See if gp will test b12, iron and Vit D when you have bloods done in 6 weeks to see how your increase has affected your levels.
Your gp should be aware of treatment and testing guidelines. Ask him to look up if not.
