Hi all. I'm completely new to this forum. I'm a 39 year old Male from Glasgow. Currently taking 100mcg of levothyroxine.
T4= 15.3
Tsh = 1.53
Have aches and pains in neck body etc. Dry skin. Have terrible sleep. Normally wake up after 4 or 5 hours and cant get enough air in my lungs. Had lungs checked all ok. Had ecg and heart all good. I think t3 could be the answer to my problems. I have requested a t3 blood test from Medicare. Waiting for test kit. I would like to try and medicate with liothyronine to try and see if can solve my problems. Any help on how to go about sourcing liothyronine would be highly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

If you would like to make a new post when you have your new test results, members will be happy to offer suggestions on how to introduce T3.
TSH, FT4 and FT3 all have to be tested at the same time from the same blood draw so I hope those are all included in your test. FT3 alone is not enough, it has to be compared with FT4 and ideally TSH needs to be down to 1 before we can see how well you convert T4 to T3.
It's also essential that nutrient levels are optimal before adding T3, so I hope you've also included
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
I'm sure you mean "Medichecks" and the test you really need is their Thyroid Check ULTRAVIT. If this isn't the test you've ordered, and Medichecks haven't posted your kit out to you, I would contact them and change your order.
Please post reference ranges when you post your new results so that we can interpret them as ranges vary from lab to lab.
As posting guidelines don't allow us to name sources of supply on the open forum, I will close your post to replies so that no information is posted here.
