Thriva blood test

Hi all, I have purchased a Thyroid blood test package (Thriva), including Ferritin, Folate, B12 and Vitamin D. I understand it's recommended to have the test done fasting and in the morning. My question is do I need to do any other preparation in order to get the most accurate results (e.g. not take my regular Fluoxetine meds)? I am not on any Thyroid medication.

Thanks in advance

Hi ZM1980 , the only thing I'm aware of is to avoid taking biotin (vitamin B7) supplements for 7 days prior to the test if you use it, because that can affect the results with some labs.

Hi virtualreality, thanks for the info. I have been taking a B vitamin (multi) supplement for a few months, so will stop this prior to testing. Valuable advice - was planning to do the test tomorrow!
