Recent Bloods TSH 0.31mU/L Free T4 29.1pmol/L under control over treated
(They say) Thyroid clinic- I have depression. And GP to consider IAPT and or Antidepressants. They are discharging me. Asked Doctor to put me on T3 He said he will ask Consultant at Heartlands. Going round in circles I know what's wrong Body Temp always low tired in day wide awake at night body tired aching muscles. Will request New test for vitamins definciny. Even though already on Vit D.Most my life been from one hospital to another same sh#t just another hospital... #Self medicate time...🤷♀️

If they diagnose you with 'depression' (a cover all statement I believe if someone is hypo) I am assuming that your Free T3 wasn't tested? Ask and I think they wont do so also a low or very low TSH doesn't mean we're overdosed although that seems to be the way the think.
If your're hypo and 'depressed' then they should give you some Active thyroid hormone, i.e. T3 to add to T4 instead of another prescription for deppression.
Of all the symptoms on this list they would probably give a separate prescription for all of them. If we are always complaining the professionals look at the blood test and if TSH and T4 are in range they will diagnose us with 'another' something or other and give a prescription for another medication..
So - if doctor wants to prescribe and your T3 is low - ask for the addition of T3:-

But feeling justified in "protecting" the non-cancer patients from their TSH-suppressing clinicians, some endocrinologists send complaints to regulatory boards, and woe betide the cited clinicians.
When I was first diagnosed I was hypo over. But had all symptoms of under active. Then got told I was under. But still not putting on weight. Up and down all the time and body temp always low.so frustrating. Just give up arguing with encrologist.s they dont want you to have a (Normal life) but dont let you die in peace either, if you have cancer like you said they will keep you alive to say they saving cancer patients. Will go to this appointment in April and if they dont listen and dont do the tests I will just leave it and buy my own on line. 🤦♀️ will update in April IF they do the tests.. For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw). This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

And the encrologist. overactive brain all over the place over thinking, but body over tired no energy terrible mood swings I'm working for government have to deal with ppl with many issues and cant support anyone if I'm all over the place my self...I've got an appointment in April so will definitely ask for what you recommended. I know ordering the private test Monday unfortunately haven't got anyone clued up around me or anyone who understands what I'm dealing with. 😥 my lifes been a train reck. 2017 when I started my new job and put all energy in helping others at work can I push it back of head.
