I would be grateful for your interpretation of these first results since my TT late October 2018.
TSH 0.37 (0.55-4.78)
T3 3.13 (2.3-4.2)
T4 1.58 (0.89-1.76)
Ferritin 52 (10-291)
Folate 7.96 (>5.38)
B12 415 (211-911)
Vit D 43.3 (75-150)
I had those tests done in France whilst staying with my daughter as my GP in UK is not interested in doing much.
French doc said I should take T3, vit D and Iron. What do you think?
I doubt that T3 will ever be prescribed to me, yet I read that after TT it should be.
I’m feeling better than before TT (anything is better than yo-yoing between hypo and hyper because of autoimmune issues). They also found cancer once gland was removed.
However I still feel weak, have dry skin and muscle pain.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Are you taking any T4 ? Is the VitD measurement ng/L ? If so a result around 60 would be good. Ferritin is good around 70 so eating liver once a week could help. Black Pudding too ! B12 could do with a nudge so taking a good B Complex could help.
Yes people without a thyroid often need T3 and there is some research to support this. Check out the posts here by diogenes - our resident Independant Research Analyst involved in Thyroid research.
Thank you - missed the range. VitD here measured in ng/L so thought it could be the same in other European countries. I am usually cautious about Iron ..
Yes, personally I believe if you have had a medical intervention resulting in your loosing your thyroid both hormones need to be available on prescription to enable your recovery.
Some people seem to be fine on monotherapy with Levothyroxine, but some are not, and if needed, both hormones should be supplemented and independently titrated to achieve your unique level of wellbeing.
The fully functioning thyroid would give you approximately 100 T4 and 10 T3 daily - so surely it is only common sense to replace with a similar dosage on the prescription pad. Thereafter, with careful monitoring your symptoms should decline and your overall health improve.
There is also Natural Desiccated Thyroid which is said to include all the currently known hormones that our own thyroids produce, viz: T1, T2, T3, T4, and calcitonin.
As I understand things NDT is not available in France. I believe T3 is easier to obtain in France though you may need a prescription.
In the UK there are doctors prescribing both T3 and or NDT on the Nhs - but the numbers are very low, and it is a postcode lottery.
You'll have more options available to you, if you can afford to go private.
Many on this forum have resorted to self medicating owing to the costs involved and the lack of proper care within the medical establishment.
If the above blood test isn't current it might make sense to get a full thyroid panel blood test along with the vitamins and minerals as detailed on this website. Then repost, along with your thyroid hormone replacement dose, whereupon people more able than me will talk you through the necessary supplements and thyroid hormone dose options.
