Iron levels and starting NDT

Long story short I switched to NDT last July after being on Levo for 9 months (most likely I've been hypo for about 8 past years but not diagnosed). I did well on NDT at first but then got worse when trying to raise, so I checked my cortisol (got low-low-low-high) and iron panel (very low, serum iron under range).

I managed to ge my iron levels to this state:

serum iron 15.79, 9 - 30.40, 31.73%

TBIC 67.28, 44.8 - 80.6, 62,79%

ferritin 58.26, 4.63 - 204, 26.90%

iron saturation 23%

I was on 1 grain of NDT the whole time when I was trying to raise my irons.

My question is: can I start raising NDT already? I definitely need a higher dose.

According to this source: rt3-adrenals.org/Iron_test_... I should get my saturation to 30% at least to "successfully treat with T3" but I don't know how reliable that is.

What are you taking to increase iron levels? Are you taking vit c with iron? Are you supporting your adrenals? I had to level my high low cortisol by taking Holy Basil capsules until adrenals calmed... Still do take when stressed. Once adrenal calmed I was able to increase NDT but I had also got my iron, vit d ,b12 and folate optimal by then.
