My TA was over 500 when diagnised with underactive thyroid in 2012.
I had a private test done at Blue Horizon and it’s down to 61.2 (0-115).
I’m pleased it’s down but is it ok?

It's meaningless. If it was once that high, you have Hashi's, and Hashi's doesn't go away. But, antibodies fluctuate.
Good link, that someone posted couple of days ago about Hashimoto's and antibodies

With Hashimoto's, low vitamin levels are extremely common
Did you test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 as well?
If either TPO or TG antibodies are high once this confirms autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto’s....even if antibodies subsequently drop within range
Many thanks for that. Do you know I’ve been trying to find clarification for weeks! Can I just ask, if the antibodies are subsequently within range (after being high) does that imply that the Hashimotos is under control?
It still means you have Hashimoto’s
Antibodies that are the cleaners that hoover up after an attack
Less attacks....less antibodies
Generally TPO antibodies seem to reduce (if high) when remove gluten/dairy
TG antibodies seem to reduce the lower TSH is
Oh right. Thanks. Do you know the % of people with underactive thyroid who have Hashimotos?I understand it is high around 90%.
