Hi Happy New Year everyone. My doctor raised my T3 liothorine oral medicine from 10mcg to 15. I also take 50 mcg. Of Synthroid T4. Here are results and ranges. TSH 0.10 ref. Range 0.27-4.20 that was flagged for being too low. T4-5.6 ref. Range 4.6-12.0. T-3 107 ref. Range 80-200. Free T4 - 1.1. Ref. Range 0.9-1.8. I am feeling a lot better on T3 but my TSH IS LOW. so far my dr. Didn’t change any meds. I’ve had a bad virus and my blood pressure was high in August so had to take meds for that. I’m not sure what free T4 is??? Can someone explain please. Attention Grey Goose and anyone out there who may know. Thanks so much

Your TSH is low because you are taking liothyronine, that's what it does, as your doctor is prescribing it then he should know that.
Free T4 is the amount of T4 that is not bound to proteins (and therefore "free" to be taken up by the cells). Total T4 is the total amount of bound and unbound T4. It's the "Free" tests that give us the important information. You really need a Free T3 rather than a Total T3 (which is what I expect has been tested).
