Hi. I posted my first full blood test results earlier last month and rT3 was 10 (10-24), FT3 was 5.7 (3.1-6.8), T4 was 54 (66-181), FT4 was 8.8 (12-22) and TSH was 6.92 (0.27-4.2). Ferritin was just above the normal range.
Vitamin D and B12 were mid-normal (I'm now supplementing) and Folate was 2.7 (3.9-26.8) and I'm taking 1000mcg daily to improve. Only peroxidase AB was elevated 176 (0-34) above normal.
I've since carefully increased my Armour from 2.5 grain to 5 grain as an experiment to see if I was resistant and I feel absolutely no different. Still extremely tired and fatigued, joint and muscle pains, among others.
I've just received some Triyotex 75 in the post from Mexico which I understand isn't more than 35-40 in strength (according to user reviews). Would it help to experiment taking this and no armour (effectively only taking T3)?
I think I read somewhere that some people don't get on well with medicating T4 or even mixed T4+T3 and can feel better on only T3. These people, for some reason, seem to feel better with ultra-low T4?

Could I just check whether I’ve understood something correctly - have you doubled your Armour in 14 days? Because it takes weeks for the T4 component to build up in your system. The advice is usually to raise by no more than half a grain a fortnight - and much more slowly than that once you’re on more than 2 grains.
Hi Jazzw. Many thanks for the reply. Sorry for the confusion as I see I mistyped in my last post and put 2 rather than 2.5. I was always on 2.5 (sometimes 3 when supply and cost wasn't an issue). So, I probably went too fast and achieved the increase over the last fortnight.
That said, I was going by the effects of T3 rather than T4 - which I have always assumed was just a raw material for T3+rT3. Therefore, as I have pretty severe hypo symptoms on Armour along with conversion issues I wouldn't have thought T4 would have been a major factor?
As I mentioned in this post I was asking about doing away with T4 medication as an experiment - but I may be misunderstanding the importance of T4. If one is medicating for all the T3 the body needs, do we really need more than a minimum of T4 in our system for rT3?
I'm feeling a bit dizzy trying to work out what you are doing and are trying to do! I think you are trying too many things at once or may be intending to so I would suggest youvstart on one thing and stick with it to find out where you are on it. With so lowxvits azzwell I would start there and get the important ones to the optimal level as that in itself can make a big difference. Otherwise you may end up with not being at all sure what has been good for you
