Have you taken any action re maybe losing your T3? Thyroiduk and other Organisations have been working hard on the removal of T3 and I shall give you a couple of links. There has also been a debate in the House of Lords.

It is disgraceful to put additional presssures on patients who are trying the best they can to get on with life with as few as possible interruptions and aggravations like the withdrawal of your T3.

People who have Thyroid Hormone Resistance and need direct T3 to enter the T3 Receptor Cells. Some people may not be able to convert levo into T3. Levo being an inactive hormone and T3 the active one.

You should also meet with your local MP and tell him of the threat to remove your life-giving hormones.

Yes I’m going to see my consultant Tuesday 23rd Oct she is the one who put me on T3 6 years ago because I cannot convert T4 myself this is after suffering for 18 years on thyroxine all the time I have a breath in my body I will never take thyroxine again ever !!!! Over this year I have been given 4 different brands of T3 & I think this is why I have a raised level of TSH my body can’t do change at all thank you I may need the information you have given me if I have to fight for my T3 & my life xx

Different brands are not bio equivalent

It's essential to always stick on same brand at every prescription

There are only 3 brands of UK T3, which was the forth?

Insist on vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin testing plus thyroid antibodies

It took me almost 6 months to get use to just changing from Mercury Pharma to Morningside Healthcare.

Thybon Henning is 31 Euro for 100 tablets

The others are all £950 approx for same 100 tablets

Which do you prefer?
