I have today received these results from my recent blood test . I am currently taking 50mg Thyroxine at night and I am gluten and dairy free. I do not take iron or Vit B12 supplements . I would be most grateful if someone could advise me before I send these results to my doctor. As the members on here are often better informed .
Many Thanks ,
Regards Tracey Carroll.

Rarely, certain diseases, like hemochromatosis, can deposit abnormal substances (iron, in the case of hemochromatosis) in your pituitary gland, causing central hypothyroidism, or less commonly, your thyroid gland, causing primary hypothyroidism.
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. When on Levothyroxine, take last dose 24 hours prior to test, and take next dose straight after test. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
Is this how you did the test?
Your Total T4 is too low, you need dose increase
See a year ago you were on T3 as well, are you still on T3? These results suggest you are
Thank you for your prompt response. I did the test first thing in the morning and had not taken my Thyroxine the night before. I am showing high B12 and high ferratin levels . Would this be caused by too low a dose ? Even though my TSH level was low too? It’s very confusing all these different levels !
Thank you for the reply . I have taken a soluble VitB complex and occasionally maybe once a week a pill 500mg . Not for a few weeks though . The confusing thing is that the Blue Horizon Doctor comments suggest over medication. I have consistently had a suppressed TSH level of 0.01 even on a higher dose of Thyroxine He also said the raised Ferratin level is not too bad but should be re tested in 4 weeks. Thanks for taking the trouble to respond.
I did not take T3 for 24 hours before the test only a half of a tiromel if I do take it . I am suffering severe anxiety and panic . Feel very jittery and have joint and muscle pain . Also swelling in hands and feet and weirdly burning on the soles of my feet . Loss of appetite. I sleep fairly well but don’t have a lot of energy and feel cold .
Thank you . My TSH level has been the same for 4 years . Despite at one point taking double the amount of T4 . It is always suppressed . So My dose keeps getting reduced. I have also gone gluten and dairy free. Hardly have any sugar .
